The Affiliate Network
(A Distributed Practice Community)
Development Dynamics works with and through a growing affiliate network of practitioners, specialists and ecosystem builders across Africa and beyond. This network extends our ability to sense emerging realities, strengthen institutional capability and seed pathways for meaningful change across different contexts.
Our affiliates bring grounded expertise across public health, policy, governance, digital systems, monitoring and evaluation, finance, partnerships, storytelling, organisational development, resource mobilisation and community engagement.
They help DD remain close to place. Close to practice. Close to language, context, relationships and lived realities. The affiliate network is one of the ways Development Dynamics grows without losing its relational centre.
It allows us to assemble the right intelligence, experience, and capabilities to address the questions our partners are navigating.
What We're Looking For
We welcome both emerging professionals (new graduates and those with up to 7 years’ experience) and seasoned experts (8+ years with regional or global networks). Ideal affiliates are proactive, mission‑driven practitioners who combine technical competence with initiative, can work independently or in teams, and deliver measurable social impact across projects.
Joining the DD affiliate circle connects you to project opportunities, visibility through a vetted consultants directory, and exclusive learning and convening events. Members gain access to collaborative partnerships with governments, NGOs, and the private sector, practical engagements that build reputation, and a community that supports professional growth and cross‑sector collaboration.
We look for specialists across technical areas such as Impact Strategy, Sustainability, Policy Advocacy, Storytelling, Behavioral Economics, Research, M&E, Learning & Accountability, Investment Design, DEIB, Revenue Mobilization, Governance, Human‑Centered Design, Organisational Systems Strengthening, Movement Building, and Grant Management plus experience in themes such as SRHR, Digital Health, Youth Programming, Climate Action, and more. Preference is given to practitioners with proven work with adolescents, women, and marginalised communities and those able to navigate complex political environments.
Our registered affiliates represent a diverse pool of consultants and practitioners skilled in strategy, research, program delivery, resource mobilisation, and technical advisory. The community profile signals the types of engagements DD curates peer recognition, potential project matches, and inclusion in a trusted roster that clients draw on for high‑impact collaborations.
